June 2011	New Team leader joins Gardeners Team. Lee Robinson is joining the Sales team of FloriGuard Gardeners and brings with him years of experience dealing with niche insurance policies and specialist products.
February 2011	Gardeners Team expands with new team member Kimberley. Kimberley is delighted to join the Gardeners team and will specialise in the sale of policies to new Clients. Kimberley can be contacted on 0845 313 9871.
December 2010	Manchester based Bridge Insurance Brokers Limited (Bridge) has been named Independent Regional Broker of the Year at the Insurance Times Awards 2010. The national awards, held last week at Battersea Evolution, London were described by Insurance Times Editor-in-chief, Ellen Bennett, as a celebration of ‘the best the insurance industry has to offer’.   Insurance Times said that Bridge was crowned winner because ‘they showed independent broking at its very best! Bridge is a big part of its local community and works hard to understand its Clients’ needs and to develop service that beats the bigger brokers.’ Roger Potts, Chairman, pictured receiving his award from Chris Evans said ‘we are delighted to win this prestigious industry award.  It is a great achievement for the team that makes Bridge what it is.  Winning the award rounds off another successful year in the growth and development of the company’. Linda Toft, Marketing & PR Manager at Bridge adds ‘we received highly commended status at last year’s awards so to win this year is absolutely fantastic.  We were recently awarded Chartered Status by the Chartered Insurance Institute  and will shortly be marking our 40th year in business so the award win makes it a triple celebration – what a way to end the year!’
